Old Shit/New Shit.

"Everyone loves you,
Nobody cares,
An awful collection,
Of enemies and friends,
Congratulations to you,
With sad regrets,
I'm tired of the old shit,
Let the new shit begin."

Dreams.

"You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later."

Lost.

This makes me want to get lost in the woods.

Let's get lost in the woods?

-Laura Bell

Again.

"She says, 'Hey, don't you like my newest trick?'
And I say, 'Yeh, that's a pretty good trick,
Would you show me again?'"

Art.

Art [noun] - The product of human creativity.

Back To The Future.

Well, back to the real world I suppose.
Dreams have to go on hold for a bit.
Hopefully doing this whole homogeneous "living" thing won't be too boring.
No harm in trying, I guess.

Shit Happens. Life Goes On. (usually)

"Cats killing dogs, pigs eating rats,
Every mouth will eat you up, the king bug laughs,
Belly of the heart, belly full of bats,
The chromosomes seem not to want the fetus,

They beat you up, they make you leave,
Sticking needles in your knees,
Knowing God will be pleased,
Should make it easy,

Snakes eating frogs,
Toads eating gnats,
When the spaceship beams you up, boy, get drunk fast,
Rubber bullet barn, titty-sucking calf,
Goats and roosters, bees and bugs, amoebas,

They blow you up, make it breathe,
Make it feel like a disease,
And though it's hard to believe,
It makes it easy."

Work Hurts.

I've been working so much and sleeping so little that normal writing looks like it's italics, and now I'm really scared to put anything in actual italics in case my mind explodes.

Murder.

"Who has never killed an hour? Not casually or without thought, but carefully: a premeditated murder of minutes. The violence comes from a combination of giving up, not caring, and a resignation that getting past it is all you can hope to accomplish. So you kill the hour. You do not work, you do not read, you do not daydream. If you sleep it is not because you need to sleep. And when at last it is over, there is no evidence: no weapon, no blood, and no body. The only clue might be the shadows beneath your eyes or a terribly thin line near the corner of your mouth indicating something has been suffered, that in the privacy of your life you have lost something and the loss is too empty to share."

-Mark Danielewski
